Shouldn't this be a feature of all handheld VHF Radios? |

 Over at Marine Deals we recently added a new handheld VHF to our range - the Uniden MHS125 Floating Handheld VHF Radio.
Should the unfortunate happen and you drop your VHF in the water then it won't sink. It's rated to JIS8/IPX8 submersible.
In my next blog post I'll talk a little more about what the JIS8/IPX jargon means.
In the meantime though I did get to thinking ....shouldn't all handheld VHF radios float if you drop them in the water?
